The Public Works Director announced today that weather permitting, beginning at
7:00 a.m., Monday, October 2, 2006 and for the next two weeks, Mt. Pleasant
Street at the railroad tracks west of Roosevelt Avenue will be reduced to one
lane of traffic each way controlled by signs and cones.

The lane closures are required to allow contractors to reconstruct the surface
crossing.

Motorists are cautioned to be aware of heavy equipment movement and to
anticipate delays.
