[Burlington-news] Construction Update

The Waterworks Department announced today that weather permitting, beginning
immediately and daily, Monday through Friday, portions of Garfield Avenue
between Mt. Pleasant Street and the dead end south will be closed to through
traffic.  Parking in the construction zone(s)will be prohibited.

The street closures, lane restrictions and parking restrictions are required to
allow contractors to accomplish water system improvements.  Work is expected to
take approximately two weeks.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the construction zone.
