The Public Works Director announced today that weather permitting, beginning at
7:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2006 the south, eastbound lane of the Mt.
Pleasant Street Overpass between Rhein Street and Wells Street will be closed to
through traffic.

The lane closure is required to allow the City’s contractor to accomplish
repairs to the overpass railings.

The work on this portion is expected to take seven to ten days.
