[Burlington-news] Construction Update

The Public Works Director announced today that weather permitting, beginning at
7:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2006, the Jefferson Street railroad crossing
between North 8th Street and Central Avenue will be closed to through traffic.  

The closure is required to allow Burlington Northern crews to accomplish surface
work.  Motorists are cautioned to be alert to heavy equipment movement.

The work is expected to take three days.
