The Public Works Director announced today that weather permitting, Friday, March
31, 2006, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. the north bound lane of South 6th
Street between Division Street and Market Street will be at times restricted
with traffic controlled by flag persons.

The lane restrictions or closures are required to allow contractors to unload
and place construction materials.

Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed in this construction zone and be
alert to heavy equipment movement.

NOTE:  This news release supersedes the notice earlier posted about lane
closures on Division Street.
