The Public Works Director announced today that beginning at 7:00 a.m., Tuesday,
June 6, 2006, the west, soutbound lane of North Central Avenue between Jefferson
and Valley and the eastbound lane of Jefferson Street for fifty-feet west of
North Central will be closed to through traffic.  Two-way traffic on Jefferson
Street west of North Central will be controlled by cones and signs.

He further announced that on-street parking is prohibited on the north side of
Jefferson Street for fifty-feet west of North Central Avenue.

The lane closures and restrictions will be in affect Tuesday through Friday for
the next three to four weeks and are required to create a safe work zone for
utility repairs.
