The Waterworks Department announced today that weather permitting, beginning
Monday, July 31, 2006 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Kirkwood
Street between Belmont Court and Melrose Court will be closed and traffic detoured.

They further announced that weather permitting, beginning Tuesday, August 1,
2006 the work will progress down the east line of Melrose Court between Kirkwood
and Lucas.

The street closures and traffic detours are required to allow contractors to
accomplish water system improvements.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the construction zone.
