The Public Works Directors Office announced today that weather permitting,
Tuesday, July 11, 2006, High Street between Main and Front streets will be
reduced to one way traffic, westbound only, to allow for reconstruction of High
Street.  Traffic for the North Boat Ramp, Big Muddy’s, Riverfront Park and the
Marina will enter from Washington to Front and proceed northbound to their
destination.  Traffic leaving will utilize High Street which will be kept open
for westbound traffic only.

Traffic control in the form of signs, and/or flaggers (s) may be utilized.  Work
is expected to take up to two (2) weeks to complete.
