The Civil Service Commission will be conducting entrance exams for the position
of Firefighter/Paramedic with the Burlington Fire Department on Friday, February
9, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at the Burlington Fire Dept., Station #1, 418 Valley St.,
Burlington, IA.  Those passing the written exam will then undergo candidate
physical agility testing (CPAT) on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at 9:00 a.m.
Mock physical agility testing will be held on 1/27 and 2/3. Please see flyer for
complete description of duties, qualifications, and compensation. The City of
