[Burlington-news] Construction Update

The Public Works Director announced today that Cascade Bridge on South Main
Street will be closed to through traffic at 8:00 a.m., Monday, August 28, 2006.

The closure is required to allow the City Engineer to accomplish a detailed
inspection and tests on the bridge.  Southbound traffic on Main Street will be
directed to use Harrison and Madison for access to the parks.

The inspection is expected to take approximately three to five days.
